1. General information only

MotoringCalcs UK provides calculators, explanations and estimates for general information and personal planning. The site does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, insurance, engineering, vehicle-maintenance or professional energy advice.

2. Results depend on your inputs

Calculator outputs are mathematical estimates based on the figures entered and the assumptions described on each page. Actual fuel consumption, energy prices, charging losses, charging speed, depreciation, insurance, tax, servicing and other costs can differ materially from the result shown.

You are responsible for checking that the units and figures entered are appropriate. In particular, MotoringCalcs UK uses imperial MPG where a UK MPG input is requested; US MPG is not interchangeable.

3. Decisions and purchases

Do not rely on a MotoringCalcs result as the sole basis for purchasing, selling, financing or modifying a vehicle, entering an energy contract or making another material financial decision. Verify current vehicle data, prices, tariff terms and other relevant information from appropriate sources.

4. Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the site useful and calculations internally consistent, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free or suitable for every circumstance. Features may be added, changed or removed without notice.

5. External services and advertising

The site may use third-party services for hosting, analytics and advertising and may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, products, policies or content of third-party services. The presence of an advertisement does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by MotoringCalcs UK.

6. Intellectual property and permitted use

You may use the calculators for ordinary personal or business planning. Site branding, written explanations, layout and original content may not be republished or systematically copied as a competing service without permission. You may link to calculator pages using their public URLs.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from reliance on an estimate, an incorrect input, changes in market prices, vehicle performance, service interruption or third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
